Safer Internet Day

In Year 1 for safer internet day we have been thinking all about how we can keep safe when using our screens at home. We talked about what we use our screens for, how long we spend on them and if we have any rules for our screens at home. We thought carefully about what types of rules would help to keep our information, emotions, mental and physical health safe whilst online and using screens. We came up with lots of super ideas such as; put on a 30 minute timer, don't share your personal information, listen to the grown up, no screens at bed time, don't use screens at tea time so you can talk to your family. We then created our own super 'Screen Time Rules' posters!

Welcome to 1KR

A huge hello and welcome to our new Year 1 children! We are so excited to see you all. We have put a little video and some pictures on for you to have a look at to help ease any nervous little tummies and give some class information. We are going to have so much fun! Who's ready to start our Year 1 adventure? We are!! 😁
