Friendship

In PSHE we have loved exploring friendship.

We have had great fun learning, playing and performing with glockenspiels our Friendship song in music.  We also learned the first verse of song in British Sign Language. 

Our Families 

We had a fantastic time returning to the hall for our indoor gymnastics session! We explored how our body can make different shapes and we can make shapes at different levels, i.e. high or low. We looked at how we can balance on different body parts when making our shapes and mirrored our partners shapes too!

Inspiring People

We had lots of fun learning all about Marcus Rashford and why he is an hero on and off the pitch!
 

We enjoyed learning fabulous facts about Marcus Rashford and all the things that make him inspirational.  Today we enjoyed taking part in our very own football tournament, using our drawing and colouring skills to create a picture of Marcus Rashford and much more!

We enjoyed investigating what plants need to grow.  We enjoyed creating and planning our very own scientific experiment using magic beans from our story Jack and the Baked Beanstalk.

Self-Portraits in the style of Frieda Kahlo

Today we loved learning all about the artist Frieda Kahlo.  We enjoyed observing her line picture self-portraits and drawing our very own portraits in the style of Frieda Kahlo.

Portraits in the style of the artist Klimt

We enjoyed learning all about the artist Klimt and looking at pictures of his famous paintings.  We looked closely at ‘The Lady in Gold’ and reflected on  how the portrait  how it made us feel.  We focused in the special shapes he had used in his portraits.  Then we created our very own portraits in the style of Klimt.
