It’s Christmasssss!

9th December 2021

On Thursday, we carried out an investigation into which type of beak is best adapted for a food source. We looked at Charles Darwin’s finch experiment and how the finches with the better beak for accessing a food source, had better of chances of survival.

Practising our historical enquiry skills by looking at the reliability of different sources related to persecution of Jews in Nazi Germany.

Santa Dash 2021 🎅We had a wonderful start to the afternoon with our warm up of the 12 moves of Christmas 💃🕺Next we completed our Santa dash around the playground. 29th November 2021

Wow! What a great day we’ve had at the ice rink! We learnt how to twist, turn, go backwards, touch our toes, do a ‘lemon’, and much more. The children were AMAZING and showed lots of resilience, not giving up, even after a fair few falls!

Writing our argument in history, debating whether WW1, Hitler and the Nazi party, or a bit of both, were to blame for WW2. 

11th November 2021

The children had a fantastic time today working with the reception children. They buddied up to create some poppy art work.
