Drums please!
To kickstart our festival of fun, Leroy from More Music Morecambe came into school this morning and taught us how to keep the pulse, play a samba rhythm and also perform a simple samba song. We used samba drums and percussion instruments and even included a bucket or three in our orchestra!
We grasped the different parts quickly and had moments where we performed brilliantly as a wide group, with pulse and rhythms playing alongside one another in near perfect time.
