Good Mental Wellbeing-

The Every Mind Matters website has been developed in partnership with leading children and young people’s mental health charities, including Young MindsThe MixPlace2Be and The Anna Freud Centre. It is designed to help parents and carers spot the signs that children may be struggling with their mental health and support them, and also provides advice that can help maintain good mental wellbeing. The site also provides tools to help young people build resilience and equips them to look after their mental wellbeing.

Colouring-

Research suggests that mindful colouring, as with meditation and art therapy, can provide numerous benefits for all ages. Along with providing a much-needed break and the chance to relax and refocus, it can: Help lift your mood, decrease anxiety and stress.

Anna Freud Centre -  

At this time of uncertainty, disrupted routine and restricted freedom, it’s understandable to be feeling anxious. This toolkit includes resources for school staff, parents and carers and children to help manage anxiety and improve wellbeing during the coronavirus crisis. You will find practical activities such as mindful crafts, breathing exercises and other self-care ideas, informative videos, emotional expression worksheets and helpful strategies to address anxiety.
