Life skill of the week: Looking after our environment.

How can you look after our environment? Can you save water by turning the tap of while you brush your teeth? Can you turn the lights of when you are not using them? Can you help with the household recycling? What other ways can you think of? Send in your pictures to evidence me - we can't wait to see them Year 1!

Activity: Have you ever been to a farm? What is your favourite farm animal? Draw and write about your favourite farm animal. Can you write super sentences using a capital letter, finger spaces and full stops? Can you use our joining word 'and'? We cant wait to read your wonderful sentences Year 1!

Page 1 & 2: Where does the goose live? Which animal is hairy?

 

Page 3 & 4: Animal noises. How many animal noises can you make? Which animal says cluck? What does the horse say? 

 

Pages 5 & 6: Why are the animals all staring at the ladybird?  What do you think they might be thinking about?
