Today we are going to look at describing words. Describing words are called adjectives. Watch the video using the link below to learn more.

Using the pictures from your paper pack you are going to write some describing sentences. What words could you use to describe the dragon to give more information about it? How about the food? We can't wait to see your description sentences Year 1!

Today we are going to look at repeated addition. Watch the video with Mrs Kippax to help and then complete the following questions:

10 + 10 + 10 = 

Time: Today we are going to tell the time to the half hour. At half past the hour, the minute hand has travelled half way around the clock from the twelve and is now pointing at the six. The hour hand is pointing half way between the hours. Watch the video with Mrs Kippax to practice telling the time. 

Using your clock can you show half past twelve? Half past nine? Half past seven?
