Reception Home Learning

Welcome to our Home Learning page. Keep checking this page each day for your daily phonics, literacy and maths lessons, there will include: activities, videos and links to other websites. Please record your home learning on the evidence me app. You have all been working so hard so far, well done!

  • Collins Big Cat eBook Library Our online book system - here you will find a wide range of reading books suited to your child's reading level for them to read. Please use your individual log in to access the website - please ask us if you are unsure of this.
  • Phonics Play Use the Phonics Play website to practise phonics (blending and segmenting and tricky words) Please log in using the username: torrisholmecp password: pupilphonics Focus on playing thephase 2 games.
  • Ten Town Head to Ten Town to play some number games and practise forming numbers.
  • Purple Mash Go to Purple Mash, find our school (Morecambe and Heysham Torrisholme Community Primary School) and use the log in details username: reception password: reception Access a wide range of computing skills games on here.
  • PE with Joe Wicks Try some of The Body Coaches daily workouts - they can be found here.
  • Numberblocks Go to Cebeebies iPlayer and watch some Numberblocks videos. We have learnt numbers up to 10 at the moment.
  • Cosmic Yoga Go to YouTube and type in Cosmic Yoga - choose a video and practise some yoga! These are great for co-ordination, balance movement and relaxation.
  • Espresso Head to discovery education and click log in, then espresso. Use the log in details Username: 18447 Password: athome Go to foundation and there are lots of areas of the curriculum you could look at.
  • Top Marks games Choose from a wide range of games suitable for Early Years children.
