We decided to open it and discovered it was full of strange objects such as straw, bricks, twigs, a pan, a for sale sign, some money and much more. We worked together to put the clues together and concluded that our new text must be The Three Little Pigs!🐷 We had lots of fun orally retelling the story to each other with lots of actions.
🌿 Henry Rousseau Inspired Collages 🌿
This week we started our collages inspired by the French artist Henry Rousseau. We thought carefully about what animals we would like to create a picture of before identifying their habitats. We used this to collage the background for our design. Take a look at our super underwater, jungle, desert, woodland and grassland scenes!
