Summer Term 1
Our visit to the Science lab at Morecambe Bay Academy was thoroughly enjoyable! We pulled on our learning of solids, liquids and gases and how their particles are arranged - we even acted it out! We sorted a selection of objects depending on their state and considered how their particle arrangements impact their characteristics. Then came the really fun bit… fire! Flame! Ice and steam! We were able to witness first hand how water can change through all 3 states through heating or cooling and the power of the Bunsen burners was so exciting to experience! Thanks to Mrs Smith and all the team at MBA for you fun session. 😁
