Phonics with Miss Shepherd - z

Join in our phonics lesson and learn a new sound!

Literacy

Watch the story 'Whatever Next' by Jill Murphy (see the video below). Once you have watched the story, talk about what happens in the story and about the characters. Find the story sequencing sheet in your paper pack and cut out the pictures and put them in order of the story. Once you have ordered the pictures, see if you can retell it. Using some story language: next, then, after that.

  • Ten Frames - Game Click on the link and play the ten frame game. Listen to the instructions on how many ones to add into your ten frame.
