Today we are going to answer some questions about our story 'What the Ladybird Heard'

Can you answer the following questions using full sentences? As a challenge can you use our joining words 'and' or 'because'?

1. Why is the cow wearing a rosette?

2. What were the thieves travelling in?

3. Why doesn't the ladybird say anything at the beginning of the story?

4. Do you think that the ladybird would have found out about the robbers' plan is she had been making lots of noise?

Look at the tens frames sheet in your paper pack. Each ten frame has 2 different coloured counters on it. Can you work out the number bond it shows? Fill in the missing parts of the number sentences. Good luck!
