Reception Sports Day
Our Reception children had a wonderful time at their first ever sports day! The sun was shining, we had a fantastic crowd of supporters and the ice lollies were scrummy!
Key Stage 1 Sports Day
Finally the rain dried up for our first sports day of the year. Our teams had a great time, taking part in a circuit of challenges together.
6J Hit Edinburgh!
6J had a great time on their trip to Edinburgh. After catching the early train, they visited 'Dynamic Earth', took a rather wet sightseeing bus around the city and explored the castle before heading back home on the train. A busy but wonderful day!
Arts Trail
Our art work on the theme of 'City, Coast and Countryside' is now on display at The Gregson Centre, Lancaster. Please see letters and passports for further details.
Thirsty Thursday!
Thank you to everyone who donated cakes or came along to our coffee morning! We were completely overwhelmed by your support and generosity! We had a mountain of cakes and people queuing out of the door!
We had so much cake that we will be opening again at 2pm for tea and cakes with all proceeds to Grenfell Nursery. We have raised an amazing £849 so far!!
Children's University Graduation
Well done to all the children in Year 4, 5 and 6 who graduated from the Children's University at Lancaster University this afternoon. They looked super in their gowns and mortar boards!
Boys Raise Funds with Badass Mucker!
These superstars shared their adventures in assembly today! They joined together as a team to run 5k and face 25 obstacles and a whole lot of muck to raise money for a special cause for MS. Brilliant team work, boys! We are super proud of you all!
Mrs Penney Treats 6J to Ice Cream
To celebrate every single person in 6J being awarded their calculator ruler after passing their tables' test, Mrs Penney treated them all to an ice-cream! Well done 6J! And come on 6T!! You have three weeks left!
For health and safety reasons, Mrs Price sampled an ice-cream and can confirm that it was delicious!
2D Feeling Proud!
The children in 2D put on a super assembly for the rest of Key Stage 1 this morning, all written by themselves!
They showed off some great work and talked about how it felt to feel proud of their work. Well done, 2D!
