  Year 2 Bake Off

  Just look at these amazing creations from our Year 2 bakers! Their bake off was linked to their work on the great fire of London which started in a bakery. As well as being tremendously creative, the children raised £124 for the Fire Fighters' charity by selling their delicious treats at break time.

  The Spirit of Christmas

  A huge thank you to all our families for their generosity over the Christmas period. We have raised/collected an enormous for many worthwhile causes. These include:

  • A van load of food and gifts to Morecambe Bay Foodbank;
  • £688 collected at productions and concerts to support the homeless shelter in Lancaster;
  • £124 raised by Year 2 at their bake off and cake sale for the Fire Fighters' charity;
  • Over £3000 raised by the PTFA at the Christmas Fair and through Santa's Shop.

   

  A big thank you to everyone who has made a donation and to our PTFA volunteers for working so hard to support our school. Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas break.

  Children in Need 2019

  What a fantastic sight school was today as a sea of yellow to represent Children in Need's Pudsey Bear. Everyone has taken part in Joe Wicks' 'Big Move'and had lots of fun. We also raised a brilliant £440 - thank you to everyone for your donations.

  The whole school had a wonderful time taking part in our ‘Trashion Show’ – a lovely way to finish our themed week on recycling. We would like to thank everyone for showing such great support for the time and effort put in to making such fantastic creations!

  The foodbank collected a transit van full of clothes, toys, food and toiletries today! Thank you to everyone who donated.

  

• Elf Run Sponsor Money to St.John's Hospice

  Elf Run Sponsor Money Presentation

  We had a visit from Santa and one of his elves from St. John's Hospice this morning and we were able to present them with a cheque for an amazing £4617.72! 

  We also had a beautiful elf donated by Armstrong & Ward in Kendal which we offered as a prize for the family who raised the most money. We had lots of amazing totals from families - a number over £100 - but the prize was won by Sam, who raised an incredible £548!!

  There are all sorts of exciting things planned for this afternoon's Christmas Fair! Mrs Green has set up a 'Selfie Station' in the ICT Suite where you can take a photo with a selection of Christmassy accessories!
