Balloon Update!
We have had many tickets returned this week, following our Race for Life balloon release. Amazingly, they have come from Rochdale, Macclesfield, Buckinghamshire, Derbyshire, Oxfordshire, Leicestershire, Stoke-on-Trent and the winning ticket so far (pictured above) came all the way from France!! One ticket even had a £5.00 donation enclosed for our campaign - how very kind!
We will be presenting a prize to the person whose ticket travels the furthest at the end of term.

Family Bingo Night
A fun-filled night was had by all those attending our Family Bingo Night this evening! Another £120 raised to add to our totaliser! Thank you for your support.
Our Race for Life - Crushing Cancer a Mile at a Time
This week, our children have all been busy, taking 20 minutes out of class each day to run laps of the school field. Each time they managed to run 4 laps, they accrued 1 mile. Many children have been sponsored for their efforts and all the proceeds will go towards our 'Crushing Cancer' totaliser.
This afternoon, we celebrated their hard work by joining with parents, grandparents, brother, sisters and friends to run one last mile - a victory mile!
It was amazing to see so many family members joining in and we are sure that in total, we had over 1000 people running together!
We also held a poignant balloon release, letting over 350 pink balloons go, each carrying messages. The balloons themselves raised over £350!
A huge well done and thank you to everyone who took part. We look forward to presenting some medals on Monday in assembly!
