    Guinea Pig Newsflash!

Today, our guinea pig Nibbles was joined by a new addition, who we hope will become a new friend.

Harriet the guinea pig belongs to Heidi (Y6) and Joshua (Y2). She used to live with her sister, but she died, leaving Harriet feeling lonely, just like Nibbles. Heidi and Joshua's family bought some rabbits to keep Harriet company, but they didn't really get on and Harriet was getting left out.

Mr Allan has made a special fence to go in the middle of the cage so that Nibbles and Harriet can see and smell each other, but still have their own space. If everything goes well, we hope to remove the fence so that Nibbles and Harriet can become friends and live together happily. Fingers crossed!
