Y4 Barn Dance

On Monday 16th December, Y4 performed barn dances in the hall after school. Y4 children have been learning barn dances as part of their PE lessons. Parents were invited along to join in. Children performed their dances and then parents joined in. They also enjoyed cakes baked by the children - it was lovely!!

Y5 Ukulele Performance

Year 5 have been learning the ukelele all term and on Wednesday 11th December they performed for the rest of the juniors! We think they were fantastic.

Graffiti Art
Thu 17 Oct 2013On Thursday 17th October, Year 6 took part in a Graffiti Art Workshop with award winning graffiti artisit, Thomas Wood. The workshop was part of the Year 6 theme 'Mavericks and Mould Breakers', which has included looking at the work of Banksy and other 'mould breaking' artists.All the children really enjoyed taking part in the workshop and have worked with Todd to create a graffiti mural on the wall leading through to the school quad, as well as their own graffiti canvas.

Y6 Robin Wood Trip
Fri 20 Sep 2013Year 6 Robin Wood Residential Trip
In September 2013, Year 6 went on their residential trip to the Robin Wood Activity Centre in Todmorden.
The children took part in some fantastic activities, including raft building, absailing, caving and canoeing. I think you will agree the children were very brave, and everyone made a great effort in taking part in some challenging activities.
